If you are using real automatic, then when you stopped, you have to press lower gear button twice - it will go through N and R gear. R is reverse. Then press accelerate again. Or, if you wish simpler, just use simple automatic gearbox. Then, when you will use your brake, truck will stop, and start reversing.
